Waking groggy in pitch darkness, Paul Conroy, an American truck driver working as a contractor in Iraq in 2006, slowly realizes he is trapped inside a wooden coffin, buried alive. With his cigarette lighter, he can see the trap he is in, and he quickly realizes that there's not enough air for him to live long. He finds within the coffin a working cellphone, which allows him contact with the outside world. But the outside world proves not to be very helpful at finding a man buried in a box in the middle of the Iraqi desert. Paul must rely on his best resource--himself..
I bought this movie and was not overly happy..love the actor...but I think when the wood cracked he should have tried or should have been able to push out, he was under what 2 or 4 ft of soft sand?????I would have died trying anyway...........6/10
this movie is garbage and a complete waste of time! the movie was predictable all the way! the title saids it all. i felt mad after watching this crap thats how disappointed i was! dont know what the hell they wer thinking when they made this shit! wont even rate it!
I think for the money they had to make this movie it was better than I expected, and the fact that most of it was based in a coffin and had only one main actor, it was a great movie. I usualy don't like this guys acting in any movies he has played in but I really didn't focus on the actor this time, I focused on the reality of the story plot. When watching all I can say is .. WOW, scary shit. The last 30 min when he was on the phone with the rep from his employer's legal showed just shows how money truly goes before humanity. Again, WOW, kinda threw me a little. I really dont know how to rate this movie. So Im going to give this a 10/10 for plot, but Im going to give this an 7/10 for ...... No, I will give this movie a 10/10 because it scared me exactly the way it should have. Scary shit to go to a country as a civilian and sign stuff you really dont read or get, but sign anyways cuz you have a family to feed so you go where the money is best. Wow is my last word.
Great film, even for a low budget movie I found it realistic and very well played. Proves that you still can make great movies without huge amount of special effects.
For the drama and the realistic ending, I voted 4/5 !
This kept me glued to the screen right til the end. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The ending was brilliant, watch it and you'll see what I mean!
This is definitely worth a watch, yes it's just 1 actor in a coffin but the movie was still suspenseful and thrilling even though there wasn't too much going on.
After reading a few comments on this film, i decided to give it a go.i was captivated through most of it. I did however get frustrated with the storyline and skipped to the end to see if he lived or died. for you to find out enjoy !!!!
To be honest, you need patience to watch this, some parts dragged on but I payed 15 pounds to get in and watch it because it was a weekend preview and was another month before it came out worldwide, but honestly, I enjoyed it, the ending was good in my opinion. I thought it would end one way, and it ended totally different I liked it. But everyone has there own opinions. I'd rate this about 4/5 just because some bits of it dragged on.
i believe this movie is on a shoestring budget. why? almost most of the scenes were in that damm casket! the other characters only on the phones/videos. i believe most of you would be pissed off either it's a waste that Ryan Reynolds was in this movie or this doesn't worth your movie ticket.

Saw the movie on the cinema website, and was actually willing to go see this at the theater...so happy I did not. -_-
Most of the comments are bad, but I took the risk of watching. BOY WAS I WRONG ! Indeed very boring. Lost interest and patience after 3 minutes already, as the movie starts with a 1 minute black screen -_-
Then pressed fast forward and the only thing I saw was Ryan Reynolds in a wood coffin. I did watch the ending and it SUCKS. Sorry to say. I never really say this about movies, and most of my comments are explained further, but I really don't wanna rate this movie as I don't know what to rate it, as it was so bad I don't even wanna waste my breath here.
You can judge for yourself, but if you aren't patient, I'm pretty sure you will have the same as me and start fast forwarding after about 10minutes.

i only entered this site to say this actor really needs money if i was to recommend this to a stupid person they would think i was stupid the first 15 min of this movie.i watch a lot of movies and i would'nt even call this a movie
I didn't think this was good at all. There was like no plot. Boringgg... Maybe this was supposed to be a low budget movie? Not even the slightest bit good to me and I love mystery/thriller films.
he should have been dead after 10 mins with his lighter on and only the air in the coffin to keep him alive, stupid movie, 2 out of 10,, boring movie...
I don't see how anyone could sit through the entire movie. I scanned and watched ending. Over half of the movie is dark with sound (back to radio?) If I paid to watch, I would request a ticket refund.
thought it was a pretty good edge of your seat type movie. you cant do much with just one scene but they did a good job of keeping things interesting. i thought it would have sucked if it didnt end the way it did. not every movie can be a good people win heartfelt positive thing.
