I give it a 2/5 Below average acting, completely unoriginal story/plot, and a completely useless girl who could only squeal like a pig and call for Conan. I wasn't very satisfied with this movie. It was completely predictable (I've seen these kind of stories 1000 times). The 2 that I gave it is the nudity and the effects (that's about it). Its a one-time flick (you watch it once, and then you never want to see it again).
can we plz get a decent copy of this movie its been atleast a month and still the version is dark blurry and sounds like they had a giant fan playing as the voices!!!!
@justmetoo come on man give MPH a break, you and I both know this quality is nearly-unwatchable. @MPH420 it usually takes more than a month for this site to post "decent quality" (this is coming from experience with the site) in about 2 months maybe there will be good quality, or you could wait for the DVD to come out. Don't be sad though, this is simply what you get for free. If you want good quality soon you may as well hop in a car and hit the theater - the only reason im on this site is because I can't drive a car and my parents won't drive me to any movies :(

i mean the way he looks. One has to overlook the small detail that he has an overwhelming urge to act out evisceration, murder, and whatever else against what he sees as his 'enemies' apart from that he would make a great date :) but yeh. looks nice :)
Pretty good movie actually, good way to kill 2 hrs...had its flaws but better than I expected with all the other crappy movies thats been made this year finally something i could actually sit thru fully and watch. Good Movie 3.5/5

meh which one did u watch first time i watched this on here it was blurry and dark now it still blurry and ark and for some odd reason the audio is all scratchy and u can almost not make out what there saying :/ rather go back to the first copy they had with the dark blur cause atleast i could understand what they said guess ill wait awhile to watch this one again :/
hope the movies is good i think its a good idea to let someone have ago at films other than just arnie or other film stars they might be the future of our films for next ten years
I've enjoyed watching Jason grow as an actor. He was cute on baywatch, a knock out on S.G.Atlantis, sexy as heck in Game of Thrones and great eye candy in Conan. I wondered why his character had to die so soon in Game of Thrones and I see it was to release Conan. The movie did not keep my attention due to it was set in the era of 'darkness'. Many movies during this time period do not fair well (ie. the recent release of The Wolfman); however, I would say it's worth watching of you like remakes of classic movies. Good Luck to Jason Mamoa.. I will be keeping both eyes on you. Good Lawd! :))
great movie! jason mamoa plays ronan dex in stargate atlantis great programme,he played conan to a t in the new movie,he was acually called conan as a joke in one of the s.g atlantis, ironic isnt it? anyway.....10/10 great stuff zmovies,woody u rule bro!!

The film does seem pretty good but the quailty of the upload ruined it i spent the 1st 60 mins trying to figure out who played conan and turned out to be the guy who plays ronan Dex in Stargate atlantis the film did seem to have a nice story line but was ruined by grainy,out of focus,Dark id suggest waiting a week or 2 for better picture or go cinemas lots of action during the start but slows down half way thru and the ending well i have no clue couldnt see anything so think il wait awhile.
The reason? Because the childhood in the new one was far better than in the original, and some parts of the new one did a better job in special effects etc than the original, but this new one was less creative with its storyline than the original.
I didn't like this movie at all. The classic ones with Arnold Swartzenegger were more entertaining to me. It started out good, but after the first 20 minutes or so it sucked.
I went and saw the movie. Its was a mix of he-man and indiana jones with a little hercules the tv series thrown in for a lil more campiness. Jason wants to help write the next screenplay. i hope no one lets him and they do not do another conan. The first part with conan as a boy, was pretty good.
The camera kept going out of focus & the movie was blur virtually through out the whole movie......
I ended up turning it off after about the 60 minute mark, I'm actually surprised i stuck it out for that long! :/
so please don't bother wasting your time, just wait till a better version of the movie gets uploaded or an actual DVD rip of the movie when it comes out on DVD, or..... if your not patient enough like i am, just go and watch it at the Cinema....
And yes i know and understand that this is a free site to watch free uploaded movies and that, so there's no need to bother replying to my post and trolling me about it being a free site and the movies being free etc....
So i am not moaning or having a rant here, i am just simply telling people to not waste their time and to just wait till a better version gets uploaded, as i am sure they'd appreciate the help and warning of movies on here that are just bad quality and being UN-watchable, that's all.

Why don't you get off your lazy azz and go watch the movies in theaters, instead of crying. You think it easy to record this? Why don't you try to record it yourself.

Now regarding the movie itself: - if it was ONLY regarding Conan's childhood, it would have been a 10/10 movie, based on the script, great acting, and the typical Conan barbarian stuff - but the adult Conan part sucked in the acting part, when the actors should have remained silent, until they learn how to first act...everything else was great.
So, because the childhood part of the movie saves my overall rating of the movie, I give it a 7/10 instead of a 5/10. But since this site only lets us do it out of 5, I'll give it a 3.
Oh well, It's free but the last 15 min or so, the ending. Unfortunately was filmed in low light situations and for almost the entire ending out of focus. I did however since I have been a Conan fan for 50 years enjoy the sword and sorcery, thank you to whoever filmed the film at the theater as well as thank you ZMOVIE.
Cheesy movies are awesome, dull movies not so much.
In reply to cesarborgia and cjkw67, yes I have seen the original and I know that it's silly and has awful dialogue, and I still like it anyway because it was cheesy and fun.
You may not have noticed that I said in my original comment that this new remake is awesome. And yes, it's also horrible, which would be fine if it was cheesy and fun but Momoa is an even worse actor than Schwarzenegger (which is REALLY saying something) and the movie just got boring and awkward whenever he said anything and tried to "act". The rest of the cast too actually, they seemed to take it so seriously. I think THEY'RE the ones who missed the point of a Conan the Barbarian movie, not me.
Conan is supposed to wander around grunting and killing everyone who makes him mad. THOSE parts of the movie are awesome. But the whole thing falls apart when anyone talks because the dialogue isn't cheesy like the old one, it's just kind of dull and stupid. Still worth a watch if you like action, but now that it's English I'd recommend turning on the closed captioning and pretending there are high pitched robots reading all the lines. That should make it funnier.

Okay, first off if you are expecting great dialog then you are missing the entire point of the movie, Conan is a Barbarian, if you watch the first Conan you will soon realize that the dialog was never the point.
If you are watching this movie expecting it to be DVD quality, then you are just a little too early, it hasn't be released on DVD yet. You are watching it here for free, how can you complain about the quality? Seriously?
Arnold Schwarzenegger has already played Conan the Barbarian, more than a few times. If you want to watch him, I'm pretty sure you can probably find it in DVD quality, if he tried to play the part now, he would probably have a heart attack, he looks way too old to be playing this role, and would never be able to do any of the action scenes.
I haven't actually seen the movie yet, I'm waiting for the English version. But the trailers all look awesome. The movie is suppose to be about action, about a Barbarian beating massive odds to complete his quest, about fighting, blood, and a very weak story line. If the movie delivers those things, with crummy dialog, then I would have to say it did exactly what the original Conan the Barbarian movies did and scored whatever points it was suppose to score.
If you are looking for anything more? Then you obviously don't get the entire point of the movie.
even though its in Russian language it was pretty nice movie. I liked the main character better than Arnold. i would rate it 4/5. when the english version is up i will take some time to watch it once more. Thanx zmovies for the links.

I saw an advance screening of this in English. TRUST ME when I tell you that if you're an English speaker and you're interested in seeing this, QUICK RUN WATCH IT NOW while it's still in Russian.
This movie is hilariously, horribly awesome and terrible, and holy bag of hammers Batman is it ever dumb as hell. The more incomprehensible the dialogue is, the better your viewing experience will be because believe me, the worst parts of the movie are when ANYONE opens their mouth and speaks. Especially Momoa. You know why that dude was fantastic as Khal Drogo? Because it was three whole episodes into Game of Thrones before Drogo actually said anything, and even then almost none of it was in English.
Erm, did you not read the title? Conan the BARBARIAN? And you were expecting great dialog? To say it is incomprehensible is a rather moronic statement to say the least, oxymoronic to be exact.
Perhaps you would do well to watch the first Conan the Barbarian, if you are bothered by this dialog, then you will be thrown into fits of rage over the original.
