"Gulliver's Travels (2010)" hmmm. if ur high probably amazing
I like Jack Black movies- but this one wasnt the best, still Im happy to see him doing his thing. if I was high and tired and handt watched a movie in a while it would be 5 star...no doubt5 star, but since im watching allot of movies recently 3.5 ouch...sorry Jack...however 3.5 is still very good and a positive movie in its self is of great value...nice chickee
Well I watched most of it... It was just OK too me! I turned it off after halfway but I did NOT finish it! So it may have been amazing after I turned it off! Who KNOWS?!
A very interesting retelling of a classic fairy tale and a kid’s story with an adult twist. No worse than Shrek humor as far as that goes. If you’re a Jack Black fan you'll appreciate this flick. Odd humor and antics spell lots of laughs, and the effects are fun too. Like all Jack Black movies, you really can't take it too seriously, which is refreshing. For you that depend on Hollywood for intellectual stimuli, you might want to stay away and go read war and peace. If you like silly fun movies from time to time, Jack Black does it again with exploiting inhibition and the rash decision making of a teenager that doesn’t comprehend the consequences of his actions until something goes wrong, and then shows what a person can accomplish with honesty while standing for something… well, maybe there is something intellectual after all. ROCK ON JACK!!

This movie was great, it made my Husband and I laugh our little arses off. We both really enjoyed it. This movie is definately recommended, 5/5 for the acting, the cast and the humour. I thought it was an interesting perspective how they brought in the chapter on the beach from his average mondane exsistance. Enjoyable, Funny and a credible movie, some romance and majority just pure humorously funny lol
Please, are we really becoming so freakin P.C. that we can't use the word black anymore because someone may be offended??? First off if read in context with the page, knowing it stars Jack Black it's pretty obvious what the poster means. Or maybe he meant he was not big and black and a fan, ya think? Well maybe hes a skinny white boy so it would just be a statement of truth.
Lastly if the poster was by chance racist and saying he was no black fan meaning he hated blacks, thats still just his opinion, its not racist. Racist mean generalizing a whole race of people by the attributes of some.Like if he said blacks are lazy, thats racist, some are, some aren't, same with whites. Even if he thinks that way, it's his right to. Land of the free does not only mean freedom to be what you think is proper & right.
As for the movie, well I am a "big black fan" :-) I like him because he's stupid and he lived up to that here but it was nothing great and given the choice I'd watch pick of destiny anyday over this if Im craving black. (gee could that be taken wrong?)
I usually don't complain when I see a movie for free on here, but I paid for this one and let me tell you ; what a lot of turd! Is it the boring story, the bad acting or all that cheesiness that I dislike ; I guess it's all of it plus Jack Black. I swear that if I ever see that moron on the street, I'd spit on his face. Don't even waste your time watching it, even if it is free. Your brain deserve better than that! 0/10
if we were on the street...and Jack Blacks all chillen like and up you go to spit on his face...I would rather love there to be cameras to capture Jacks good karma of me taking the spit for him and than knocking you the fuck out...there fore no charges pressed, and I get a spit blocking reward from Jack and lots of fun serving you a taste of tough guy makes good and nailing bullies.
