I have watched thousands of movies and this movie is a keeper. I absolutely hated those megabot movies, but this one had it all... 10/10 Oh yea, to those blind viewers who knocked this movie...not every movie has to have graphic, bloody, rampant violence and sex to be good.
This is a movie you can watch with the whole family. It's really sweet and it kinda moves your heart. I say that because for a minute i thought the robot "Atom" had a will of his own. I absolutely loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D!!!!!!
Like a few of the other users commented, it's been a long time since I've seen a movie like this one. It was fantastic from start to finish, and the fight scenes were amazing! Will definitely have to add this one to my permanent collection. 5/5
THIS MOVIE IS SIMPLY PUT , WELL CRAFTED AND WELL DELIVERED BY HUGH JACKMON AND THE KID. GREAT MOVIE, VERY TOUCHING. IT TOUCHED MY HEART TREMENDOUSLY. EVERY MAN HAS A CHOICE AND SHOULD MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE WHEN IT COMES TO MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN A CHILD'S LIFE. THERE'S NO INTIMATE OR BETTER BOND THEN A FATHER AND A SON. SIMPLY A GREAT MOVIE BUT ATOM WAS ROBBED OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP, THAT BELL RANG RIGHT AS ZEUS WAS ABOUT TO GO DOWN. HAHA. IT'S AMAZING HOW THE SCORING IN A MOVIE IS THE SAME IN REAL LIFE, HAHAHA.
Yes, It's kind of like the movie "Rocky". Hugh Jackman is great as are the rest of the cast. Definitely a big time, 'feel good' movie. Adults and kids both will love this film. If you're human, you'll love this movie. Subhumans won't be impressed and should remain under their rocks, scowling at the real world and waiting for... whatever or whoever it is they're waiting for to come along and save them from their small, sad, smug, pathetic existences. The way some of you incessantly complain, it astounds me how you can stand to be around yourselves for even one second. Get over yourselves! Sheese!
Great bonding story between a father and son and their scrapyard found boxing robot. An underdog who gets a shot at the title. This was as good as Rocky! Amazing story and cant wait for a sequel!
Diffantly worth a watch :D If people are saying its boring they couldn't get the movie to work in the first place! So watch it 4.5/5 only reason I gave it a 4.5 can't wait for better verison so I can see it better, too dark from vid camera XD
the story was very good! "it didn't need a lifetime to find where an important part of life should start" those comments such as boring, doesn't worth the watch, etc. well, watch again and try to understand the whole story...don't just use your freak-in mouth when your mind is full of junks!

Just saw this tonight at the theater, and omg was amazing!! definitely worth a watch for sure, probably one of the best movies i've watched this year. lol 5/5
didnt think much of this movie in the trailers i have seen but all these great reviews on it has made me want to check it out so thanks to all the ppl who actually said they liked it or not with most liking it i shall check it out now so again thanks everyone for the nice comments and when i watch it i will leave my 2 cents worth lol ;o)
Man I was jumping out of my chair like I was watching rocky balboa as a kid ..... cheering for Atom to beat the sh*t out of that big black robot ..... It is an awesome movie .... If you like those kind of movies ...david vs goliat you will love it
Real Steel - Really Steals not only from The Champ, but from Rocky, the Transformers movies, despite which it never lacks on sheer entertainment that it offers. it was good to see our dear wolverine back on screen. with the kid n father story mixed with robo boxing. this actually came out as a winner. this one really steals the show on a whole.
this film is unlike any other, its sort of a robot wars/rocky hybrid and i couldnt help notice the Rumble in the jungle-esque fight scene. Also i couldnt help but think if only the kid who plays max was around when G.Lucas was casting the role for Anakin(ep 1) and replace Jar-Jar with the robot(ATOM) then maybe Episode 1.2.3 would have been better
Great movie, for being a "robot" movie. I really didn't think I would like it due to the face it is a robot movie, but it took me by suprise and turned out to be great! 5/5 (Audio and Video were "ok" on XTSHARE). Thanks Zmovie for the links!!
This was so cool, i thought i would enjoy it after reading the discription and it turned out so much better than i expected, cant believe how real it all looks. Not only does it have good effects, it also has a good story line and so moving. A recomended must watch in my eye's and a great ending. :)
I enjoyed this movie. YES it does have virtually EVERY cliche' one would expect for a movie of it's kind.... However, if you watch it for it's entertainment value, and, if you are a Father separated from his Son during the early years,.. I would recommend watching this movie with your Son... Even if you are 41 years old (like me) and your Son is about to turn 21. As cliche' as this movie is, I completely enjoyed this movie for it being entertaining, and for it's "OBVIOUS" message... And to those of you who constantly down on movies for their budget and special effects,... Shut up and make a better one yourself! lol Seriously,... Stop insulting an industry you know NOTHING about and tell us how to properly flip a burger patty at a fast-food restaurant :) PEACE!
Loved this movie! The fight scenes were incredible and it proves not to always count the little guy out. All problems are fixed and the links are good so enjoy the movie :)

Just letting you all know not to bother wasting your time here to watch this movie for the simple fact that the camera keeps going out of focus and also the sound is way way out of sinc with the actual movie
take it from me, just wait till a better copy gets uploaded here, cause i had to turn this movie off after 5 minutes it was that bad unfortunately :(
if we went back several years, the kids wouldnt know what to do wtih themselves. and the "ill wait for an r5" would never be said. cams were considered bloody good considering people were trying and the tech that was used. these days a lot of people have a bitch becuase its not perfect, or not bluray before the cinematic release or out at all. these are deffinately a generation of "someting for nothing" and i believe they need a dose of reality and appreciation as to what is been given to the community.
I also agree you people need to be patient...or you could just go to a theater near you and spend a small fortune to watch what will be up here soon. Thanks for this site. That being said I am patiently waiting for MONEY BALL......
